Big City Butterflies – discovering London’s wildlife

Simon Saville will describe Butterfly Conservation’s new “Big City Butterflies” project, which will run for four years from 2021. This will inspire Londoners to discover butterflies and moths, and in doing so will connect them with nature and their local green spaces.

This will be an interactive talk, with plenty of opportunities for Q&A

You will learn about:-

  • the life cycle of butterflies

  • what butterflies you might see in London

  • where to go to see them in our area

  • how to manage parks and gardens to benefit wildlife, especially butterflies

  • how to get involved with butterflies more generally

A suggested donation of £5 will go towards Bell House’s educational programme.
