Carers Week

Dear all

Carers Week will run from Monday, 7 until Sunday, 13 June 2021 and its theme is to Make Caring Visible and Valued.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much needed support.

We are inviting Southwark people to share their ‘caring’ pictures, so we can acknowledge, celebrate and retweet on South East London CCG (Southwark) Twitter page. The annual Carers Week campaign is brought to life by thousands of individuals and organisations who come together to provide support for carers, run activities, highlight the vital role carers play in our communities and draw attention to just how important caring is. Bola Olatunde

If you’re happy for us to use your ‘caring’ pictures on social media, please email your pictures along with a short description to Bola Olatunde by 12pm tomorrow. Only one picture per person please. We will endeavour to share as many as possible.

If you’re on Twitter, please follow @NHSSouthwarkCCG to retweet and help share our posts.

Thank you for your continued support.

Best wishes
Bola
