BBC Lifeline Appeal for Carers

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers will be featured on the BBC Lifeline Appeal BBC One, on 19th June.

For over twenty years, BBC Lifeline has helped raise money and increase the profile of hundreds of charities across the UK and abroad.

The appeal will be a unique opportunity to tell people about the work of The Trust and why we need more support for the UK’s unpaid Carers.

You can help the UK’s six million Carers by watching the appeal and telling your family, friends and colleagues to tune in to learn more about the work we do.

Take part in the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain celebrations

Festival ’51 is a chance to get involved in an exciting series of workshops developing a ‘pop up’ exhibition for the Southbank Centre, exploring the Festival of Britain, which took place in 1951.

Mental Health Awareness Week 23 – 30 May 2011

Each year the Mental Health Foundation uses this week in the calendar to work with people and organisations across the UK to help raise awareness of important public mental health issues which are often neglected.

Previous years have seen innovative campaigns raising awareness of topics such as ‘Fear and Anxiety’ and ‘Loneliness.’ The theme this year is Sleep.
