Festival ’51 is a chance to get involved in an exciting series of workshops developing a ‘pop up’ exhibition for the Southbank Centre, exploring the Festival of Britain, which took place in 1951.
Take part in a unique heritage training programme and visits, resulting in the curation of a fantastic exhibition which will be displayed in the Royal Festival Hall.
Workshops include – object handling, conservation, interpretation, design and curation.
Workshops to take place at Southbank Centre over 5 weeks on: Tuesdays from 11 -4 on the 17th may, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June and 14th June.
