In case you’ve missed this, it’s not too late to take part…

Southwark Autumn Walking Challenge, 22nd October to 4th November.

Step up the the challenge and see how many miles you can clock up. Log your walks, share your stories and photos, and see your calories burned and CO2 saved.

Walking is fun, free and healthy, and it’s a great way to get to know more about the area. Make the most of everything Southwark has to offer: great streets, shops, buildings, restaurants and beauty spots.

Southwark Council’s new walking maps are an ideal way to help you plan your routes and discover some hidden gems within walking distance.

Copies of the Elephant and Castle map are available free at The Cuming Museum on Walworth Road.
