SPC is a charity offering a range of services and activities to people over 50 in the London Borough of Southwark. Founded in 1987, the purpose of the Centre is to support older people to enjoy a good quality of life into a healthy old age by providing services, information across the Borough and a community resource centre working to promote choice and opportunity for the diverse population of older people.
Cambridge House offers a variety of services available to clients with disabilities on personal budgets to realise their potential. Our staff are highly trained and can tailor every programme to meet individual needs and targets, based on the high quality services we’ve delivered to adults with disabilities for over 35 years. These include 19 Plus, a creative group which promotes clients’ independent living skills; Saturday Arts Club, using art as a channel for expression and personal development; and a Holiday Activity Scheme over the Easter and Summer, with sporting and creative themes.
The Dragon Cafe is Mental Fight Club’s special community space to creative explore mental illness, recovery and wellbeing. It is open every Monday from 10am-8pm, every week of the year.
Typically, the cafe runs a range of creative activities including poetry, film, drama and exercise.

DHSCC provide friendly volunteer support for isolated older people aged 60+. We cover a small geographical area which is the central and southerly portion of the borough of Southwark, South London.
Choice Support is a pioneering person-centred organisation formed in 1984 to support people with learning disabilities to have better lives. Recently, our work has extended to include support for people with mental health needs and physical disabilities, and homeless people. We started as a small consortium in south east London, but our work has grown over the years and we now provide services throughout much of England. We currently employ around 1500 staff and provide services to over 750 people, with an annual turnover of more than £40 million. The services we provide include residential care, supported living, outreach support, work opportunities, leisure activities, and housing management.
Bede House is a Charity which was established as a Settlement in 1938 to work alongside poor families in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe.
Bermondsey and Rotherhithe have some of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the country. Bede’s purpose is to be a focus for individual and community development in the area and to contribute to the pattern of social care in Southwark.
