Next Council Assembly focuses on young people

The next full Southwark council assembly, on 17th October, will focus on opportunities for young people.

The key discussion at the next assembly will be around opportunities for young people, including employment.

(From the People’s Republic of Southwark…)

There will also be an opportunity to see the sporting displays by Team Southwark winners in the London Youth Games 2012, meet some of the young writers behind Southwark’s Olympic Youth Poem, and get information about work and training for young people.

Sadly, the deadline for sending in your thoughts and comments is now closed, but, if you would like to submit a public question (on any issue of concern, not necessarily young-people-specific) or request a deputation on any issue, you can still do this by Thursday 11th October, by calling Lesley John on 0207 525 7228 or by emailing constitutional.team@southwark.gov.uk

The assembly will take place at the Walworth Academy, Shorncliffe Road SE1 5UJ, from 18:00 on Wednesday 17th October 2012.
