Southwark Council is one of 20 London Boroughs that have signed up to
The Big London Energy Switch
The project combats rising energy costs by bringing people together to strengthen bargaining power – with estimated savings between £60 and £200 per household.
All households, including social housing tenants (apart from those with estate heating) can register to be part of the scheme. Registration will close at the end of March and energy companies will then be invited to offer their best tariffs in a reverse auction which will take place soon afterwards.
We need to get as many disadvantaged households in Southwark as possible to sign up, to help them better cope with the rising cost of fuel bills.
Come along to a briefing at Inspire, St Peter’s Church, Liverpool Grove, Walworth SE5 on Monday 18th March between 14:00 and 16:00 to find out more about the scheme and how you can help local residents
