State of the borough debate

Share your views on the riots that took place in August

On August 8 this year,Londonsuffered the worst disturbances that our city has seen for decades. In response to the disorder and looting, people across Southwark have come together to condemn what took place and show huge community spirit in responding to what happened.

The Peace Wall in Peckham is one of many examples of Southwark at its best.

This year’s ‘state of the borough’ debate will focus on what took place in August, and council leaders would like to continue the community conversations which have been taking place across the borough.
