Kids work with disabled children, young people and their families, and offer a range of family support services, including:
– Home Learning – home learning for children aged 0-5, focusing on developing social, communication, and motor skills, as well as developmental play sessions for babies under 18 months, useful e.g. Downs Syndrome.
– Advice and information for parents, including training.
– Siblings, supporting siblings of children with a disability.
Copleston Centre provides a range of therapeutic activities for people with mental health problems in the Peckham/East Dulwich area, as part of the Creative Therapies Project.
Garden House provides a home and a range of services for adults with learning disabilities
Garden House consists of three lovely connected terraced homes situated on a residential street on the outskirts of Peckham in south east London. We have beds for 10 adults with learning disabilities.Â
Age Concern Lewisham and Southwark exists to improve life for older people, especially those who are frail. It provides information and advice at its 3 Southwark sites; Mon-Fri Day Centre care; a Black Elders project; Healthy Living Centre and Healthy Living Project; Wellbeing at Home help; Help at Home, including the Happy Feet toenail cutting scheme; and Support Planning assistance.
