Older Carers, Drugs and Alcohol Project

  • Do you feel supporting you partner is made harder by their drinking, medication or drug use?
  • Do you support an adult child who has problems with alcohol or drugs?
  • Do you look after your grandchildren because their own parents cannot due to their drug or alcohol use?

Then we want to hear from you!

Adfam is the national organisation working to improve support for families affected by drug and alcohol use.

We are working on an exciting new project with people aged 65 or over who support someone due to substance use.

We are together to develop a befriending scheme and social groups where older people help and support each other.

Come along to our first introductory session at Age UK London! All travel expenses are covered.

19 March 2015 – 10.30am-3.30pm Please contact Oliver Standing: o.standing@adfam.org.uk / 020 7553 7640.
