Southwark’s Freedom Pass Renewal webpage went live on 4th January 2010. The web address is:-

Stay safe – at no cost!

A project called One to One provides free security improvements for older people living in Southwark.  They can install door locks, front-door chains, spy holes etc, and all of their handypersons have been rigorously vetted which has included an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.  For a home security visit, telephone 020 7639 1823.

With regular physical activity you will increase your chances of living a longer, healthier and more independent life. At least 30 minutes of activity, five or more days per week, can improve your overall health. This does not have to be all in one go and three slots of ten minutes throughout the day would be a great start.
