What is the day about?

Helping families and unpaid carers understand the effects of brain injury
Identifying some of the issues that affect families
Strategies for managing difficulties
resources for help and support
There will be presentations in the morning and workshops in the afternoon

Topics will include:

What happens when the brain is injured? What impact does it have on families? Challenging behaviour and how to manage it, Taking Care of the carers, Benefits Information, Family Issues, Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques, Therapy taster sessions.
