The Care Quality Commission have taken urgent action and closed St James Church Surgery, Thurland Road, London SE16 4AA following an inspection last week.
The CQC have agreed a short term caretaking arrangement for patients through Quay Health Solutions Community Interest Company (CIC), at Southwark’s Extended Primary Care Service. The service is located within two minutes walking distance at Spa Medical Centre; 50 Old Jamaica Road, London SE16 4BN. Telephone number 020 3049 8782.
The caretaking services commenced with Quay Health Solutions (QHS) on 12 July 2016, and QHS will provide core GP contract services for the patients registered at this practice.
