Get your boots on for a fundraising walk! Sat 3rd Nov

Like walking? Fancy raising money and awareness for Southwark Carers and mental health carers in the borough?
Get out your walking boots for a special fundraising walk for people living with mental health issues and their carers.

Join us on a scenic Thames walk, as we start from Tower Bridge at 10am, crossing six bridges, finishing at Waterloo Bridge. Once it’s over, we’ll be heading back together for a special reception at the Southwark Resource Centre for Independent Living, off Walworth road, where there’ll be music and celebrations.

We’re teaming up with Together, the charity for mental wellbeing, and the Southwark Resource Centre for Independent Living.

Walk start: 10am at County Hall, Tower Bridge.

Route: Tower Bridge London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, Millennium Bridge then back down Waterloo Bridge.

End-point: From 1.30pm at the Southwark Resource Centre, 10 Bradenham Close (off Westmoreland Road, Walworth), London SE17 2NB.

Contact: Dan Taylor for sponsorship and event info. 020 7708 4497 / dan.taylor@southwarkcarers.org.uk

We’d also love to hear from volunteers to help steward or support the celebration event after.
