Climate Change Impacts on Butterflies and Moths

Simon’s talk will describe the changes to the distribution and abundance of butterflies and moths in Britain, and link this to the warming of the climate. Some species are responding positively, while others are struggling. We are likely to see new species arriving from the continent, while others go extinct.

Simon will also be reflecting on the impacts and limitations of the COP26 policies on butterfly and moth conservation
