King’s Guys and ST Thomas workshops

We are currently working with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust on a two-year Joint Programme for Patient, Carer and Public Involvement in Covid Recovery funded by the trusts’ charities.

In April and May, London South Bank University is running a series of workshops for us that are focussing on these topics:

  1. Waiting for treatment and managing your own care

Do you have experience of waiting for one or more of these services during the Covid pandemic?:

  • Cardiology
  • Cancer
  • Ophthalmology
  • Orthopaedics
  • Children and Young People

  1. Virtual (online or telephone) access to care

Do you have experience of using one or more of these services by telephone, or online video using a computer or a smart phone, during the Covid pandemic?:

  • Trauma & Orthopaedics
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Urology
  • Renal
  • Lung Disease

These workshops are bringing together patients and carers with health professionals, third sector organisations and local community groups; to co-design local support and improve what we do.

Please see these two flyers for dates and times of workshops:
