Dear stakeholder
Network Rail, working with Southwark Council, is developing plans for an upgraded Peckham Rye railway station. Our project is busy working on designs to make the station fit for the future. The upgrade proposals, beyond the current design stage, are not yet funded and still subject to planning approval. More details about the project can be found atwww.networkrail.co.uk/peckhamrye, which includes a most recent Zoom presentation on 13 January 2021, that shows some of the initial designs.
We would like to get feedback from local groups and organisations to help understand how we can make the station more accessible and inclusive for everyone. As a result, we are contacting you because we believe your input could help. We would be grateful if you and your members could consider access and inclusion at Peckham Rye railway station and provide feedback in a short survey (see link below):
http://www.demographix.com/PeckhamRye
This survey should only take a few minutes to complete. In the third question “What are the top three improvements that you think should be made to Peckham Rye railway station as part of a future upgrade?† you are free to suggest as many ideas as you like that are relevant to the groups you represent.
If you would prefer to email us instead, please write to tell us your views and needs to NRSouthernProjects@networkrail.co.uk.
We are at an early stage and your input is important now to help improve design.
Best Regards
Â
