Every year Citizens Advice Southwark focuses on raising awareness on a particular scam campaign. This year we are focussing on Coronavirus scams. This can come in many forms. For example:

-          emails pretending to be from the government

-          adverts selling face masks at high prices 

-          someone knocking at your door asking for money for a fake charity.

If you come across anyone who may have been a victim of any scam please feel free to encourage them to contact the Citizens Advice consumer service online or at 0808 223 1133 for advice.

I have also attached a leaflet that you can give to clients.
