Transport for London (TfL) is currently introducing new highway facilities at bus stops and has asked TRL (the Transport Research Laboratory) to help monitor them.
TfL is particularly interested in use of these bus stops by blind and visually impaired people, mobility impaired people, deaf and hard of hearing people, as well as people with learning difficulties and those with mental health issues, and is looking for volunteers to help assess how they use the new facilities, particularly in the presence of cyclists.
The trial will take approximately half a day, on-street at one of a number of sites across the capital. Please register your interest with the Transport Research Laboratory by emailing contact@trl.co.uk or calling 01344 770123. Please note that a £50 reimbursement will be made to participants for each half day. Further details can be found at www.trl.co.uk/trl/cpm.
