Southwark Council is recruiting volunteer stewards for the Olympic Torch Relay in Southwark on Thursday 26 July 2012.

Stewards will be

• Manning the route
• Providing information to the general public
• Working alongside professional security staff and team leaders

As a volunteer steward, you must:

• Submit an application at www.southwark.gov.uk/torch
• Be available to attend training on Thursday 19 July from 5pm to 6.30pm
• Be available to steward on Thursday 26 July between 8am and 1.30pm
• Be aged 18 or over
