Southwark Carers provides professionals working with carers with a range of information and advice enable them to provide better support

Our carers’ centre operates a drop-in service every Wednesday afternoon (3pm-5pm). You are welcome to call in without a prior appointment and meet our staff, browse the information library and ask any questions you may have about carers and our work.

We can also arrange for a member of our staff to visit your organisation and give a presentation on carers issues. If you work in primary care, we can provide a “Carers Awareness” programme, please contact our Health Services Liaison Worker for more details.

Our umbrella organisation, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, has developed a website and factsheets for professionals working with carers.   Please contact us to discuss any of these further.
