Would you like to come along to one of our events?

Every 2 months we hold a Carers Forum on a topic of interest to local carers. If this topic relates to the work you do, you are very welcome to join us with an information stand. Please contact us if you are also interested in giving a presentation or hosting a workshop.

Carers' Forums coming up:

14th February – Health & Social Care
10th April – Employment, Training and Education
12th June – Money & Benefits
14th August – Housing & Adaptations
9th October – Health & Wellbeing
December - Carers’ Rights Day

After some of the Carers' Forums we hold a feedback seminar for local professionals. At these events the issues that carers have raised with us are reported back and discussed. This is a useful opportunity to share experiences and ideas of meeting carers' needs in the future.

We are also keen for professionals to come and speak at our carers' support groups. We have a range of groups meeting monthly across the borough. If you would like to offer your professional advice to carers please contact us.
